National development fund and South Korea's Export-Import Bank signed MOU

During the visit of the president of South Korea, Ms. Park Geun-hye, and accompanying delegation, chairman of the national development fund and the chairman of South Korea's Export-Import Bank signed a memorandum of understanding between two organizations while meeting.  

Dr. Hosseini alluded to the history and status of national development fund in Iran's development plans and said:" at the moment, the main function of national development fund is focusing on promoting country's infrastructure, developing export and attracting foreign investment.

Then Dr. Hosseini introduced attractive mutual investment fields in different parts of Iran's economy and said:" at the moment, there are attractive projects being implemented in different fields such as oil, gas, petrochemical, power and transport whose completion needs financing."

Following the meeting, Mr. Lee Duck-Hoon, the chairman of Korea Eximbank , said:" according to Iran's high potential for development, including rich underground resources and intelligent human resources, the Korean side is ready to proffer its experiences in development to Iranian side and in exchange, benefit from Iran's experiences in technical and economic fields.

Duk-Hoon considered introduced projects by Dr. Hosseini important and attractive and said:" according to high resources of national development fund and significant resources of Korean bank, these two economic entities can provide mutual investment in these projects through establishing joint committees."

At the end of the meeting, chairmen of national development fund and Korea Eximbank signed a MOU in order to prepare financing conditions for private sector's projects of two countries.
